The Kahala Hotel offered a lovely stay with stunning ocean views from our rooms and a well-done breakfast buffet that had a great variety. The staff treated us like family with thoughtful touches, like a signed birthday card. While the location is perfect for escaping the hustle of Waikiki, it can be a bit crowded at times. Overall, it's a beautiful place for a getaway, though there were some minor inconveniences with larger events happening during our stay.

I loved the location! It was a wonderful escape from the craziness of Waikiki, yet we weren’t too far if we wanted to explore.

The hotel facilities were quite impressive, with beautiful areas from the pool to the beach. It felt very family-friendly, though sometimes a bit busy.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which boasted a beautiful view of the Sony Championship Golf course and came with lovely lanais. The rooms were clean and had a charming old-fashioned feel to them, although they could benefit from a little modernization. The service was outstanding – the staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating. The location was peaceful and picturesque, just outside Honolulu, making it perfect for my needs. On the downside, dining was pricey, so be prepared for that. Overall, it was a great value for money.

My stay at the hotel was truly memorable, set in a stunning location right by the ocean with breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious and offer a magnificent view of the dolphins lagoon, making it hard to leave. However, I found the dining options to be somewhat underwhelming considering the hotel's standards. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience all the more pleasant. Overall, I'd say it’s a great spot, though the dining could use some improvement.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, right on a private beach in the Kahala neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The rooms were clean and spacious, perfect for a family with kids. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. However, the dining options were a bit of a letdown, as the quality didn't match the hotel's 5-star status. Overall, it’s got great potential but feels a bit lacking in some areas.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to assist me. Overall, it was a good experience, but with some improvements, it could be excellent.

My stay at the hotel was mixed. The location was absolutely amazing, right on a beautiful private beach away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. However, the room left something to be desired; it felt a bit dated and wasn't quite up to the standard I expected for the price. Plus, the dining experience could definitely use an upgrade, especially considering the prices.

Rooms

Location

Located on a fabulous private beach, I felt like I was in paradise yet was still near enough to downtown for some adventure. It was a perfect escape from the chaos.
Dining

Dining here was underwhelming; the breakfast just didn't justify the $38 price tag, especially when compared to the stunning views. I expected more variety and better quality for that kind of money.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were decent, but they also felt like they could use some updating to truly match the luxurious vibe they're aiming for.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, with spacious rooms and beautiful views, especially of Diamond Head. The location was a quiet retreat, although a bit far from shops and dining. The service was polite, but I found it lacking in response times, which was a bit frustrating. Dining was nice, but a bit overpriced for what it offered. Overall, it offers good value for a relaxing stay, yet there are areas that could use improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, boasting beautiful views of the surroundings. I particularly loved the window above the king bed that framed Diamond Head perfectly. However, the furniture felt a bit dated and could use a modern update.
Service

The hotel is nestled in a beautiful high-end neighborhood, providing a peaceful atmosphere. However, it’s not the best if you want to walk to restaurants or shops, as it’s quite a distance away.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were a bit limited and on the pricier side. I also think they should really consider replacing the fake maple syrup with real maple syrup, which would elevate the breakfast experience.
Facilities

The hotel has nice amenities, but I felt like some facilities could use a bit of care and maintenance to match the overall elegance of the place.

The location was fantastic, being close to Waikiki without the crowd, which was a big plus. However, the dining options didn't quite meet my expectations and could use some improvement.
